Malaysia is well known for its multi-racial country. In Malaysia, they are three big races which is Malay, Chinese, and Indian. Every races have their own culture like food.
Malay food, in generally is rich with herbs like lemongrass and garlic. hey have a lot of traditional food like Nasi Lemak, Rendang and ketupat. Nasi Lemak is a food which is the rice was cook with coconut milk. Besides that, Nasi Lemak should have cucumber that have been cut in smaller pieces, anchovies and boiled egg or fried egg. Usually people eat Nasi Lemak as breakfast in the morning. Moreover, Rendang and ketupat they usually cook when it's come to Malay festival like Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Rendang also can eat with rice. We can choose either to cook Chicken Rendang or Beef Rendang. So there is some of Malay traditional food. It easier to found this type of food.
Chinese food in Malaysia are from he different parts of China which is the early immigrants originated. From immigrants, they have bring a lot of type's. There are some Chinese traditional food like Dumplings and Moon Cake. Dumplings are consisting of meat and mixed vegetables, wrapped into a pieces of thin dough and usually fillings with shrimps, beef and others. Dumpling is food they should have eaten when they celebrate Chinese New Year. Next, is moon cake is type of small cake. Moon cake was made with bean paste, lotus paste or lotus seed fillings, each with egg yolk I desired. Other than that, moon cake usually served at Moon Cake Festival or we can called it Ghost Festival. As the result any races can eat these Chinese food but for Malay races, we have to find the halal one.
Most of the people in Malaysia really like to eat Indian food and also some Malays trader are sold Indian food like roti canai. So there are some of Indian food in Malaysia are very famous which is Tosai and Vada. Firstly, tosai is a crepe made from rice and black lentils. Tosai was rolled as in a wrap and also tosai is cooked on single side only. However, tosai was served with side dishes sambar (dhal) or curry. Other than that, we can eaat tosai at Mamak restaurant. Next, Vada was made from potatoes or legumes and also including with pigeon pea, chickpea, black gram and green gram. Besides that, vegetables can also add to improve the taste. Vada is suitable to eat for breakfast and also snack. For the result, this type of food usually have served at Mamak which any races can eat.
The conclusion are, Malaysia have a lot of food from different races. Every races can eat those food. Malaysia can also called as 'Placed to eat'. In Malaysia also have west food. Malaysia is suitable for the people who is type of food hunting people.
